This may be old news - but it's still red hot in our opinion. Does anyone remember a certain little issue of boulders being "removed" from the Tung Chung riverbed? Not only being removed, but being done so at considerably irreversible damage to the surrounds at the same time. Just why do these findings receive a "Private and Confidential" classification? If the complaint has even been "partially substantiated" then surely these findings should be made public. Especially since it is the tax payers money that has funded the whole enquiry process done by the Civil Engineering Development Department (CEDD) and the Ombudsman's office. The release of this material should heighten public awareness of the shortcuts taken by CEDD and their contractors. We leave it up to our readers to be the judge.
