I always find these particularly amusing. I am very aware that translations from English into Chinese very often also fall spectacularly short of the intended message – but sadly not being able to read Chinese I miss out on that humour. Not to worry, these are funny enough!!

The Government published in the Gazette today (November 9) proposed footbridge at the junction of Pui Shing Road and Ngan O Road, Tseung Kwan O. Upon completion of the works, the footbridge linking Ngan O Road and the Hang Hau MTR Station will facilitate pedestrian access to the MTR station.
 
Land resumption for drainage improvement works in North District

The Government will resume 135 private agricultural lots with a total area of about 38,880 square metres in the vicinity of Tai Po Tin and Ping Che, Ta Kwu Ling; and Man Uk Pin and Lin Ma Hang, Sha Tau Kok to make way for the implementation of drainage improvement works to alleviate the flooding problem there.
