1. Draft Shek Kip Mei Outline Zoning Plan amended Hong
Kong Government, 24 January 2003 The
Town Planning Board announced today (January 24) amendments to the draft Shek
Kip Mei Outline Zoning Plan (OZP). The
amendments to the draft OZP mainly involve boundary adjustments of the Planning
Scheme Area. Adjustments are made to tally with the land allocation boundary of
the Water Supplies Department's workshop and to reflect the existing use as well
as site condition at the eastern edge of the area where the Kowloon Canton Railway
runs. Other amendments
involve adjustment of various zoning boundaries primarily to reflect the existing
uses of the sites. The
draft Shek Kip Mei OZP No. S/K4/16, incorporating the amendments, is available
for public inspection during office hours at the following locations: *
Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, 15/F, North Point Government Offices,
333 Java Road; *
Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office, 27/F, Tsuen Wan Government
Offices, 38 Sai Lau Kok Road; and *
Sham Shui Po District Office, Ground Floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices,
303 Cheung Sha Wan Road. Any
person affected by the amendments may submit a written objection to the Secretary
of the Town Planning Board on or before February 14, 2003. Copies
of the draft plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North
Point and Yau Ma Tei. An electronic version of the plan is viewable from the Town
Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
2. Draft Tuen Mun Outline Zoning Plan amended Hong
Kong Government, 24 January 2003 The
Town Planning Board announced today (January 24) amendments to the draft Tuen
Mun Outline Zoning Plan (OZP). The
amendments mainly involve the rezoning of an area occupied by the Aegean Coast
in Tuen Mun Area 55 from "Comprehensive Development Area" ("CDA")
to "Residential (Group B) 5" ("R(B)5"), the rezoning of an
area to the west of Aegean Coast from "CDA" to "Other Specified
Uses" annotated "Light Rail Transit Terminus", and the rezoning
of an area in the north-eastern corner of Shan King Estate in Tuen Mun Area 7
from "Government, Institution or Community" to "Residential (Group
A)". The
draft Tuen Mun OZP No. S/TM/17 incorporating the amendments is now available for
public inspection during office hours at the following locations: *

Tuen Mun and Yuen Long District Planning Office, 14/F, Sha Tin Government Offices,

3. Draft Kowloon Tong Outline Zoning Plan amended Hong
Kong Government, 24 January 2003 The
Town Planning Board announced today (January 24) amendments to the draft Kowloon
Tong Outline Zoning Plan (OZP). The
amendments mainly involve boundary adjustments to rationalise the OZP boundaries
with Kowloon Planning Areas No. 4 and 8, and to extend the Planning Scheme Area
to coincide with the boundary of Lion Rock Country Park. The
amendments also include rezoning of the ex-Kowloon Tsai Married Quarters site
at Beacon Hill Road from "Comprehensive Development Area" to "Residential
(Group C) 8" and some technical amendments to reflect the as-built boundaries
of developments and roads. The
draft Kowloon Tong OZP No. S/K18/9, incorporating the amendments, is now available
for public inspection during office hours at the following locations: *
Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, 15/F, North Point Government Offices,
333 Java Road; *
Kowloon District Planning Office, 14/F, North Point Government Offices; and *
Kowloon City District Office, Rooms 1706-1713, One Harbourfront, 18-22 Tak Fung

4. Approved Wang Tau Hom and Tung Tau Outline Zoning Plan amended Hong
Kong Government, 24 January 2003 The
Town Planning Board today (January 24) announced amendments to the approved Wang
Tau Hom and Tung Tau Outline Zoning Plan (OZP). The
amendments mainly involve boundary adjustment of the Planning Scheme Area to tally
with the land allocation boundary of Lok Fu Estate and revision of the Remarks
of the Notes for the "Residential (Group A)" zone in respect of the
development restrictions. The
draft Wang Tau Hom and Tung Tau OZP No. S/K8/14 incorporating the amendments is
now available for public inspection during office hours at the following locations:

5. Footbridge to be constructed across Lai Chi Kok Road Hong
Kong Government, 24 January 2003 The
Government plans to construct a covered footbridge across Lai Chi Kok Road near
Cheung Mou Street to provide a grade-separated crossing facility for the public.
The proposed
footbridge, with associated lift, escalator and staircases, will be connected
to a public internal pedestrian walkway through New Kowloon Inland Lot Number
6320. The walkway will further link up another footbridge across Sham Shing Road
to form a walkway system in the area. A
notice describing the proposed works is published in the Government Gazette today
(January 24). The
works also include permanent closure and re-construction of a section of the existing
carriageway to footpath at Lai Chi Kok Road; temporary closure of sections of
existing carriageways and footpaths in the vicinity; and ancillary works including
drainage and utilities works. Any
person who wishes to object to the proposal is required to submit his written
objection to the Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works at 16/F, Murray
Building, Garden Road on or before March 25, 2003. A
related plan is available for public inspection at the following locations: *
