1 Draft Quarry Bay Outline Zoning Plan amended
Hong Kong Government, 27 February 2009
The Town Planning Board today (February 27) announced amendments to the draft Quarry Bay Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site to the south of Mansion Street from “Government, Institution or Community” to “Green Belt” and ‘Road’ to reflect the current uses of the site, and a site at 1-10 Sai Wan Terrace from “Residential (Group B)” to “Residential (Group B)1” with the imposition of plot ratio restriction to ensure that the future development at the site would be compatible in scale and character with the surrounding developments.
The draft Quarry Bay OZP No. S/H21/26, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters at the North Point and Sha Tin Government Offices, the Hong Kong District Planning Office and the Eastern District Office.
Any person affected by the amendments may submit a written statement of objection to the Secretary of the Board on or before March 20, 2009.
Copies of the draft Quarry Bay OZP No. S/H21/26 are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the plan can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
