1 Amendments to works for Kowloon Exit of Western Harbour Crossing gazetted

The Government published in the Gazette today a notice on modifications to the authorised improvement works at the Kowloon Exit of Western Harbour Crossing, which had earlier been authorised by the Chief Executive in Council.

The modifications involve the provision of an additional lift at the proposed bus stop with associated changes to the footbridge staircase and footpath adjoining the lift.

The construction work will start in 2009 and take about 15 months to complete.

The Modification Plan is available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

(i) Central and Western District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central;

(ii) Yau Tsim Mong District Office, 6th Floor, Mong Kok Government Offices, 30 Luen Wan Street, Mong Kok; and

(iii) District Lands Office, Kowloon West, 10th Floor, Yau Ma Tei Carpark Building, 250 Shanghai Street, Kowloon.
