1. Tsuen Wan West TW7 property development project to be re-tendered
MTR PRESS RELEASE, 17 MAY 2007

The Board of Directors of the Tsuen Wan West TW7 Property Development Limited (TWWTW7PDL) has decided not to award the tender for the joint venture property development at West Rail Tsuen Wan West TW7 site.

Three tenders were received for the project at the close of submission on 27 April 2007.

TWWTW7PDL is a wholly owned subsidiary of the West Rail Property Development Limited (WRPDL). Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) is the agent for the WRPDL on the project and the profits generated from the project will go to the Government.

Mr Daniel Lam, Director – Property of KCRC, said, “The Board of Directors of the TWWTW7PDL has decided not to award the tender, and will re-tender the project again as soon as possible.”

Occupying an area of 2.37 hectares, the project has an approximate gross floor area of 113,064 sq m for domestic use. The current development proposal comprises seven towers housing 1,776 units with an average size of 63.7 sq m.
