1 Draft Quarry Bay Outline Zoning Plan amended

The Town Planning Board today (July 25) published amendments to the draft Quarry Bay Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The plan mainly involves the incorporation of amendments to impose building height restrictions for various zones; rezoning "Commercial/Residential" ("C/R") sites to "Commercial" ("C") or "Residential (Group A)" ("R(A)"); rezoning a site from "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") to "G/IC(1)"; and rezoning two sites from "C" to "C(3)" and "C(4)" respectively; designation of non-building areas; other corresponding rezonings to reflect existing uses on sites as well as corresponding technical amendments to the Notes of the OZP.
The draft Quarry Bay OZP No. S/H21/25, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin Government Offices, the Hong Kong District Planning Office and the Eastern District Office.
Any person affected by the amendments may submit a written statement of objection to the Secretary of the Board on or before August 15.

2 Approved Mong Kok Outline Zoning Plan amended

The Town Planning Board today (July 25) announced amendments to the approved Mong Kok Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve revision to the annotations of the "Other Specified Uses" ("OU") zones for Mass Transit Railway and Mong Kok East Station development. Amendment has also been made to the Notes for the "Residential (Group E)" and "OU" annotated "Business" zones in accordance with the Revised Master Schedule of Notes to Statutory Plans.
The draft Urban Renewal Authority Anchor Street/Fuk Tsun Street Development Scheme Plan (DSP) No.S/K3/URA1/1 has replaced the approved Mong Kok OZP No.S/K3/24 relating to the area delineated and described therein from the date the exhibition of the DSP is first notified in the Gazette on July 25, 2008.
The draft Mong Kok OZP No.S/K3/25, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office and the Yau Tsim Mong District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before September 25. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.

3 URA's draft Anchor Street/Fuk Tsun Street Development Scheme Plan published

The Town Planning Board today (July 25) announced the publication of the draft Urban Renewal Authority (URA) Anchor Street/Fuk Tsun Street Development Scheme Plan.
The scheme area covers about 726 square metres and is designated as "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Hotel". It is planned for a hotel development with ancillary commercial facilities. The development scheme intends to achieve environmental improvement through redevelopment and promoting efficient land use.
In accordance with section 25(9) of the URA Ordinance, the draft DSP replaces the draft Mong Kok Outline Zoning Plan in relation to the area delineated and described in the draft DSP.
The draft Anchor Street/Fuk Tsun Street DSP No.S/K3/URA1/1 is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office and the Yau Tsim Mong District Office.
Any person can make written representations in respect of the draft DSP to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before September 25. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
