The Drainage Services Department has awarded a $157million order to China State
Construction Engineering Corporation for the upgrading of Siu Ho Wan sewage treatment

A $77.55 million contract has been awarded to China Metallurgical Construction
(Group) Corporation by the highways department for the improvement of Tin Ha Road

Downer Construction (Hong Kong) has secured a $55.19 million Water Supplies Department
deal for the extension of the North Point salt water supply system. Work involves

The Architectural Services Department is asking contractors to Prequalify by September
25 for three contracts covering the construction of buildings 6, 7, 8 and 9 at

Renovations at ferry piers
Maunsell Consultants Asia is inviting tenders on behalf of the Territory Development
Department by October 12 for the refurbishment of ferry piers 4, 5 and 6 and associated
works in Central. Work includes the installation of curtain walls and parapets,
landscaping and drainage works and the resurfacing of the Jubilee Street underpass.

Pumping station task on offer
The Drainage Services Department is calling for tenders by October 12 for the
supply and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment at flood water
pumping stations at Ma Tin Tsuen and Shui Pin Wai. Work is due start in January
